Forlle’d products combine low molecular Hyaluronic Acid, low molecular Egg Shell Membrane protein and ionized Minerals, that improve moisture retention, bridge formation or cell proliferation, and therefore make the skin condition better, restoring skin structure and boost regeneration at dermis level.

The dermis indicates the area from papillary layer and reticular layer of corium. There is hypodermal tissue underneath. In the granular layer, the cell’s nucleus is transformed and includes keratohyalin granule(the antecedent substance of corneous) but there is still ionized channel existing. In the prickle layer, there are no capillaries, but tissue fluid provides nutrition and the sensory nerves are distributed to the dermis.

Forlle’d Laboratory depolymerized the hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed egg shell membrane and ionized minerals to molecular size of 5 nanometers (95%) so that they can pass through epidermal cell gaps (15-180 nanometers) without damaging the barrier zone. Then, as a prickle layer, it is absorbed by tissue fluid and believed to improve permeability and absorptivity as intercellular substance. Moreover, it is also believed that it is absorbed by cell and cell fluid and reaches into the dermis.

Hyaluronic acid is a polymerization of uronic acid of glucose (glucose sugar) = glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. It is believed that high molecular hyaluronic acid’s permeability is quite low, as it has 800,000-1,200,000 units of molecular and only stays on the surface of the skin. Therefore, we thought that hyaluronic acid has to have 4-5 units of molecular in order to improve its permeability. We have made it into low-molecular and bonded it with minerals including R-COO:Ca, Na, K, Mg to construct crosslink structures and improve moisture retention capacity.

On the other hand, chondroitin is a polymerization of glucuronic acid and N-acetylgalactosamine. Its structure is quite similar to hyaluronic acid, while the only difference is whether using glucosamine or galactosamine.

Hyaluronic acid maintains the water between the cells by forming matrix by taking water into the intercellular spaces. When hyaluronic acid tries to form a solid matrix (intercellular space), it has to be cross-linked by using bivalent ions such as Ca, Mg or Zn. Therefore, hyaluronic acid has to be bonded with ionized minerals including Ca, Mg, or Zn.

Forlle’d products contain EM Protein which is extracted by eggshell membrane and it has been used to heal the wounds for a long time. It is also introduced in Honzo- Kmoku which is the integration book of Chinese herbal medicine.

This EM (Egg Shell Membrane) Protein has high affinity to the human body, and it bonds and proliferates human dermis fibroblast. So it is believed to have high affinity to human cells. Moreover, its effect to increase the amount of III-type collagen which works as to keep the skin’s structure, soften or retain the water has been recognized and reported in the 64th conference of Japanese Biochemical Society in 1991. It is believed that its effect has been improved as we have added ionized mineral to EM (Egg Shell Membrane) Protein and ionized them. However, the mechanism that EM (Egg Shell Membrane) Protein increases the amount of III-type collagen has not been clarified yet.
